Inspiration

This is my first day as a blogger.
I'm hoping to use this blog to inspire me to take beautiful photographs and to connect with other artists. I am a freelance photographer and I sell my work at the Portland Saturday Market.

The photograph of the oak tree was taken in Bristol, England. I love trees and have always wanted to capture a tree on a hilltop. So, when I saw this, it was meant to be.

For those of you interested in having your photographs or art prints mounted onto plywood, my husband and I provide a service through our website www.plywerk.com. You can upload an image online and choose the size you want your image to be. It's mounted nicely onto maple plywood that we cut ourselves. You can take it an extra step further and have your image laminated and engraved.
